We will scan the clippings, creating a colour PDF image with a searchable OCR layer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Following the digitization, the clippings can be returned to you or retained for our collection.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>At the moment we are limited to a standard size page layout.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It will be necessary to sign a waiver giving the Quinte Branch either exclusive or joint ownership of the materials due to copyright restrictions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you contact us, we can arrange pickup within the greater Quinte area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All you have to do is collect your clippings and call or email us for pickup.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Quinte Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society is conducting a \u201cdigitization project\u201d to preserve the \u201ctreasurers\u201d of newspaper clippers and scrapbookers who have a collection of significant newspaper clippings from the past, the\u00a0older the better.
